We will now be collecting items four times a year. These will be distributed through the American Legion Post #44 in Northumberland, as part of their monthly outreach to local veterans. I will be working directly with Dick Simpson. The months we will be targeting are September, December, March, and June. Each of those months we will be asking for specific items. Watch for the lists as the plans develop. If you have any questions, please contact me or the church office.

!!!UPDATE!!!

A tree for Veterans will be in the Narthex this year for socks and slipper socks.

We’ll be taking them to the VA Hospital along with the quilts we are making.

Our goal is 100 and about 35 are completed! 

We still need sheets and material.

Rita has made over 100 hats that will go to the Vets, Foster Children and any other places as needed.

She continues to welcome donations of yarn!
